MEFS recognizes that food is a basic human need and will accommodate each individual & situation as best we can.

of all current household members.

Groceries are packed in recycled boxes and bags as available. You may provide your own container.
You may pick-up regular groceries, (AKA "a full walk-through") up to two times per month and can plan to receive at least a 5 day food supply for your household.
“Produce-only” pick-ups are available on the weeks in between "full walk-throughs".
Visits are limited to one per week per household.
Distributions are completed through client choice shopping and consist of canned, dry, or shelf stable foods, fresh or frozen meats, dairy options such as milk & cheese, breads and bakery, and fresh produce. Toiletries and household products are also commonly available.
Most clients spend approximately 20-30 minutes from check in to weigh out. Times may be longer so remaining flexible and patient is recommended. Please arrive no earlier or later than 1/2 hour from the posted operating hours. This allows clients to complete shopping without being rushed.
Yes. Please make your physical address and household member information (names and dates of birth) available to the person picking up for you.
Phone calls are encouraged if additional requests are necessary.
