Yes!


MFS recognizes that food is a basic human need and will accommodate each individual & situation as best we can.

It's pretty simple!


Please know your physical address, name(s), and date(s) of birth 

of all current household members.  

Verbal confirmation of information only! 


Groceries are packed in recycled boxes and bags as available. 

You may provide your own container.

Monthly grocery shopping is available to each household, once per calendar month.  Expect to receive at least a 3-day supply of food.


“Produce-only” shopping is encouraged weekly.


Household visits are limited to 

one per week.




What types of foods are available?

Grocery shopping is considered self-service and includes a variety of foods  from the following categories:


Fruits and Vegetables

Dairy

Proteins

Grains

Cooking & Baking Items

Boxed & Canned Meals 

Deli 

Bread & Bakery

Snacks & Beverages


Food is sourced and stored fresh, frozen, and dry and all items are subject to availability.


Personal care and household products are also commonly available. 

How long will shopping take?

Plan to spend  20-30 minutes from check-in to weigh-out. Wait and shopping times vary and the keys to a successful shopping trip are both preparation and flexibility!

Yes. 


Please have your physical address, name(s), and date(s) of birth of all current household members available to the person picking up your groceries.

Verbal confirmation of information only!

It is also helpful if the person picking up knows what to shop for. Please share your likes/dislikes & needs with them!
