The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing operations, while maintaining a strong visable commitment to the mission. This involves establishing strategic direction, ensuring compliance with all applicable legal requirements, and keeping McLeod Food Shelf financially healthy.
The Board of Directors holds its regular business meeting the 3rd Thursday of each odd month, beginning in January. Meetings begin at 4:00 PM and take place in the confernece room at MFS, Glencoe Site. The Annual Meeting, held the 3rd Thursday each May, is open to the public.
Once elected, a director serves a 2-year term, not to exceed three consecutive terms (6 years total). Provisions are made if director is elected mid-term to fill vacancy position.
