The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing MEFS’s operations, while maintaining a strong visable commitment to the mission. This involves establishing a strategic direction, ensuring compliance with all applicable legal requirements, and keeping McLeod Emergency Food Shelf financially healthy.
The Board of Directors holds its regular business meeting the 3rd Thursday of each odd month, beginning in January. Meetings begin at 4:00 PM and take place in the North Conference Room at Glencoe City Center, Glencoe MN. The Annual Meeting, held the 3rd Thursday in May, is open to the public.
Once elected, a director serves a 2-year term, not to exceed three consecutive terms (6 years total). Provisions are made if director is elected mid-term to fill vacancy position.

There will be a disruption in grocery distributions and phone/internet while the new space is being set up. We are excited to see you there and are working fast to make it happen! We will reopen no later than Thursday October 28 at 3:30pm.
