DIRECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES

The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing MEFS’s operations, while maintaining a strong visable commitment to the mission. This involves establishing a strategic direction, ensuring compliance with all applicable legal requirements, and keeping McLeod Emergency Food Shelf financially healthy.   

BOARD MEETING TIMES & LOCATIONS

Meetings are held the 3rd Thursday of each odd month, beginning in January. Meetings begin at 9:30 AM and take place in the Lower Level Meeting Room at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Glencoe MN. The Annual Meeting, 3rd Thursday in May at 9:30 AM, is held at the Hutchinson Distribution Site. Regular Director Meeting follows. 

DIRECTOR TERMS

Once elected, a director serves a 2 year term, not to exceed three consecutive (6 year) terms. Provisions are made if director is elected mid-term to fill vacancy position.
